60 plus chefs participating at Green Tie Ball September 17

Attendees at this year's Green Tie Ball September 17 won't go hungry. More than 60 area restaurants have signed-on to help raise money for Chicago Gateway Green's "greening" efforts. 
Celebrating its 20th year, the Green Tie Ball themed "A Return to Emerald City," takes place at A. Finkl & Sons (2011 N. Southport Ave., Chicago), raising money towards greening and beautifying Chicago's expressways, gateways, and neighborhoods.

From 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., guests will be taken away to the Land of Oz as they enjoy tasty dishes prepared by some of Chicago top chefs from restaurants including:

Get ready to “Return to the Emerald City” when Chicago Gateway Green hosts its 20^th Green Tie Ball on Saturday, September 17 at A. Finkl & Sons, 2011 N. Southport, in Chicago.

Beginning at 6:30 PM, this event boasts tastings from more than 60 restaurants, premium open bars, a silent auction, food trucks, complimentary valet, charitable gaming, DJ Rock City and live entertainment.

With dynamic hosts like Tim Smithe (Walter E. Smithe) and Stephanie Castagnier (NBC’s The Apprentice), this party will lead you happily down the Yellow Brick Road to one of the most talked about parties in town!
