Chicagoans seeking a first rate location for hosting a group
event this summer need look no further than Maxwell’s at the Club, the popular open-to-the-public
restaurant at the East Bank Club (500 N. Kingsbury St., Chicago; 312-527-5800).
During the summer months and through the end of September, when many East Bank
Club members choose to eat lunch poolside at the newly expanded outdoor grill
(open to members and their guests only), Maxwell’s suspends its lunch service,
but during this period will be available for private lunchtime events. The
restaurant will be open for business as usual at dinnertime (weekdays, 5:30
p.m.-9:30 p.m.). The bar is open 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekdays, with live
entertainment and a full dinner menu.
