Wine was once a man’s profession; owning vineyards, raising sons and handing their winemaking traditions down through the generations.  It was not until the last half of the 20^th century that women emerged as leaders in the industry.  Today’s greats include Luciana Vietti, Kathryn Hall & the Antinori sisters; Alessia, Albiera and Allegra, all of whom are featured at Francesca’s during May’s Women in Wine celebration.  All Chicagoland locations and Madison, WI will feature the following wines May 1-31:
