From 10 a.m.-3 p.m on Sunday, April 4., Glen Prairie offers an Easter Brunch that presents a variety of food for the whole family. The brunch features a Salad Station with Prairie Salad, Potato Salad, Asparagus Salad with balsamic fig dressing and a Seasonal Fruit Salad with yogurt dip.
The Bakery Station features an assortment of bakery goods such as House-Baked Breakfast Pastries, Artisan Rolls, Maple Thyme Butter, and Omelets Made To Order. The Farm Fresh Buffet offers Rustic Skillet Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs with chives and aged cheddar, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Maple Sausage, and Herb Roasted Salmon. The Chef’s Station features Maple Glazed Ham with whole grain mustard sauce and Herb Roasted Iowa Farmed Beef Sirloin with horseradish sauce.
The brunch presents a Kid’s Corner Station that serves Blueberry Stuffed Pancakes, Chicken Nuggets, Mac N Cheese, Go-Gurt and Fruit Cups. Also make sure to leave room for the sweets table. It will feature Assorted Cakes and Pies along with Cookies and Brownies. The cost is $29.00, kids 5-12 are $12.00 and kids under 4 are complimentary. The brunch menu replaces the regular menu for the day.
