Fleming's 100 'Opening Nights' Wine Tasting Series in September

Expand your wine worldliness and embark on delicious adventures from 5:30 -7 p.m. every Thursday in September with Fleming's 100 "Opening Nights" Wine Tasting Series. This unprecedented series features tastings of the entire Fleming’s 100, the award-winning list of 100 wines by the glass. It is a rare opportunity for all guests to sniff, swirl, sip and spit like an international wine buyer.

The cost is $25 per person, and each guest attending an Opening Night event also receives a $25 Dining Credit for the main dining room that evening. View the wines served at each Opening Night here.

The annual unveiling of the Fleming’s 100 is a highly anticipated event at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. Created by Director of Wine Marian Jansen op de Haar, it is recognized time and again by Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast magazines. Preparing the Fleming’s 100 takes a full year, as the wine managers and Jansen op de Haar taste thousands of wines to create the annual collection. The list features 80 national selections and 20 wines that are personally chosen and recommended by Fleming’s local wine managers. Once the wine selections are made, then each is tasted again in order to list them progressively on the menu — the whites first, from lightest to fullest, sweetest to driest, then the reds listed from lightest to fullest, and least tannic to most tannic.

Nationally acclaimed Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar offers the best in steakhouse dining – Prime meats and chops, fresh fish and poultry, generous salads and side orders—with a unique wine list known as the “Fleming’s 100™” that features 100 wines served by the glass.
