We just got wind of specials being offered at the new Glen Prairie restaurant (1250 Roosevelt Rd., 630-613-1250) in Glen Ellyn this weekend, March 6, 7 and 8. If you've had the chance to visit Glen Prairie since its opening a few months ago, you'll know that Chef Daniel Ovanin works hard at showcasing local flavors, featuring artisan foods from area farms and suppliers. Glen Prairie is pleased to announce that joining Chef Ovanin in the kitchen is sous chef Byron Kuhn, formerly of Nomi! You can also see Chef Ovanin at the Garden Gourmet Stage at the Chicago Flower & Garden Show at Navy Pier, Tuesday, March 10 at 11:30 a.m.
