Kids Will Not Be Left Out at Dine Restaurant this New Years Eve

Dine Restaurant lets the Kids celebrate this New Years Eve by offering a "Family Friendly" celebration that features a 3 course "Big Kids" menu along with a very tempting 3 course menu for Adults as well.

The "Big Kids" menu will be unique in that Chef Will Johnson has put just as much time and attention to detail in their menu as he has the Adults menu.  The unique and creative presentations will make the little ones feel like they are just as much a part of the celebration as their parents. 

"Big Kid" Appetizers will include "Ants on a Log", with raisins for "Ants" on a Celery log filled with Peanut Butter and Almond Butter; Ham & Cheese "Sushi" with Honey Ham and Local aged Cheddar rolled up in white bread to look like a Sushi
Roll. interior w borderEntrees will include "Birds in a Nest" with "Little Chick" meatballs in a Spaghetti nest along with "Oceans of Cheese" with a Hot Dog "Octopus" in a sea setting of Cheddar Cheese Sauce.

Four choices will be available for each course so that each "Big Kid" can find something they will enjoy.  Additionally, for littler ones who may not be able to consume all three courses, an ala Carte option will be available.  A glass of Sparkling Grape Juice is included for the "Big Kids" so that they can toast the New Year with their parents.

In addition to the menu for Kids, there will be a "Countdown" and Balloon Drop at 7pm and 9pm so that all kids can enjoy the annual celebration of saying "Happy New Year" with their parents, regardless of their bed time.  Hats & Noise Makers will be available along with Face Painting and a Coloring contest to keep everyone entertained throughout the evening.

diner counter - interior w border ETAdults will enjoy a fabulous three course meal with such selections as Tuna Carpaccio and Hand Made Mozzarella for Appetizers along with Entrees consisting of Roast Venison with Juniper berries, braised cabbage and honey braised apples; Red Drum with a scallion potato cake, braised leeks and a truffle vinaigrette and a traditional New Year’s Eve staple, Surf and Turf with Grilled Beef Tenderloin and Maine Lobster.  A glass of Sparkling wine will be included for the Adults.

Easter Brunch Buffet at Dine

Dine Announces its Menu for the 3rd Annual Chicago Restaurant Week





More than 130 eateries throughout Chicago have prepared special menus for the 3rd Annual Chicago Restaurant Week, a food lover extravaganza Feb. 19-28. Indulge in gourmet three-course, prix fixe meals, just $22 for lunch and $32 for dinner.

West Loop favorite Dine (733 W. Madison St., Chicago; 312-602-2100) showcases a special menu, beginning with Baby Arugula with Blue Cheese Salad, with roasted pears, candied walnuts and sherry vinaigrette. Entree choices include Baked Tortellini and Cajun Shrimp, with spinach, Kalamata olives and bechamel sauce, or Farmhouse Chicken in Vinegar Sauce, with crispy pancetta and roasted fingerling potatoes. Enjoy Warm Chocolate Pudding with fresh ginger ice cream for dessert.

The menu is offered for lunch ($22) and dinner ($32). Prices are per person and do not include beverage, tax or gratuity.

Dine Offers Three Courses for $20 This Weekend

What are your weekend plans? Enjoy a three course meal without breaking the bank at West Loop neighborhood restaurant Dine (733 W. Madison St., Chicago; 312-602-2100), where chef Alfredo Anaya has prepared a special $20 menu available 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Jan. 15-17.

Start with House Salad, organic baby greens, thyme roasted Bosc pear and cider vinaigrette, or Carrot Ginger Bisque. Then indulge in Cod Tempura, with egg noodles, Asian vegetables and lemon grass tomato broth. Dine's Special Menu for The Local Tourist Restaurant Week Kicks Off Jan. 8





Enjoy a three course meal for lunch or dinner at Dine (733 W. Madison St., Chicago; 312-602-2100) Jan. 8 through Jan. 15. Dine's menu includes the first course, a choice of Salad, roasted red and gold beets, crumbled chevre, orange supreme and balsamic vinaigrette with mixed baby greens, or Appetizer, pumpkin sage ravioli, brown butter and baby arugula. The main course is Rigatoni and Vodka Sauce, with shaved parmigiano and pulled lamb shank. The vegetarian option is Grilled Vegetables and Warm Frisee, with port reduction and basil oil. For dessert, enjoy Apple and Cranberry Cobbler, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

The Local Tourist Restaurant Week kicks off Jan. 8, with participating restaurants providing three course meals, with 10% of each meal supporting Endure To Cure, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that benefits organizations dedicated to pediatric cancer research, treatment and care. Deck the Halls at Dine





Deck the halls this Christmas at the West Loop's neighborhood spot Dine (733 W. Madison; 312-602-2100). Dine's Christmas dinner is a special $46 three-course prix fixe menu offered 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Dec. 25. Start with a Roasted Butternut Bisque with brioche crostini. Then choose between Arugula and Roasted Beets with pecorino Romano, hearts of palm and lemon vinaigrette, or Wild Mushroom and Watercress, puff shell and Malbec reduction vinaigrette. Enjoy the main dish of Herb Roasted Turkey, corn bread stuffing, sage pan sauce and choice of whipped potatoes or ginger sweet potatoes, or Pan Seared New York Strip, Cherve sorrel potato croquettes and raspberry demi. Enjoy Bread Pudding and banana brulee for dessert.

Spend New Year’s Eve at Dine with a four-course prix fixe menu for $56 offered 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Dec. 31. Start with either Caprese Salad, fresh mozzarella, balsamic reduction and basil oil, or Mixed Greens and Roasted Pears, with orange supremes and mustard tarragon vinaigrette. The appetizer is Fennel and Lamb Lollipops, with julienne apples, celery root and Malbec vinaigrette. Entrees choices include Pan Seared Scallops and Short Ribs with roasted poblano noodles, chanterelle mushrooms and fingerling potatoes, or Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and veal demi. Dessert is Crème Caramel, served with fresh mixed berries.
