Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar Hosts the Cakebread Cellars Wine Dinner

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar (960 Milwaukee Ave, Lincolnshire, IL 60069 847-793-0333) will host the Cakebread Cellars Wine Dinner 7 p.m. Friday, May 18.   The lavish dinner will feature an exceptional five course menu, created by Chef Partner Roger Abuan, paired with five estate-bottled wines from Cakebread Cellars. The cost is $120 per person all inclusive.  Please call 847-793-0333 for reservations as space is limited.
The meal will begin with Grilled Pizza, with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and arugula paired with CAKEBREAD, Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley, 2010.  Next will be a Fleming's Crab cake with avocado, aioli, spring mix salad which will pair perfectly with CAKEBREAD, Chardonnay Napa Valley, 2009.  The third course will be Paella of Duck, with Andouille sausage, shrimp and roasted pepper paired with CAKEBREAD, Pinot Noir Anderson Valley, 2009.  The next course will feature Grilled Prime New York Strip with celery and blue cheese relish which will pair beautifully with CAKEBREAD, Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, 2009.  Finally, the dessert course will feature Panna Cotta with strawberry and rhubarb marinated in balsamic paired with CAKEBREAD, Vin de Porche Rosé, 2011.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar once again delivers by introducing the new dining experience, Small Plates, Big Pours. This new special features a pairing of seven original Flemings’ Small Plates with seven oversized, Big Pour selections from the Fleming’s 100 ® wine menu for only $24.95. Diners can choose from an option of upscale bites including Sliced Filet Mignon, Shrimp Scampi Skewers, Petite Lamb Chops, Seared Ahi Tuna, New Bedford Scallops, Fillet Mignon Skewers or Lobster Tempura. Fleming's Lincolnshire Presents Wine Tasting Under the Stars

Join Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar (960 Milwaukee Ave., Lincolnshire, Ill., 847-793-0333) for Wine Tasting Under the Stars featuring Stags’ Leap Winery 6:30 p.m. Saturday, August 27. The event will pair hor d’oeuvres with four extraordinary Stags’ Leap wines. Tickets are $59 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).

The evening’s grazing menu starts off with Crispy Prosciutto Cups topped with tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella; Shrimp Scampi Skewer served with avocado, orange, red onion and fennel with a chimichurri dipping sauce and Crab Salad with a citrus aioli served in an endive leaf with Stags’ Leap Viognier, Napa Valley 2010.

Next, Ahi Tuna Skewers poppy seed and peppercorn crusted paired with tomato vinaigrette and wasabi aioli; Champagne Poached Lobster Rangoon served with a lobster butter sauce paired with Stags’ Leap Chardonnay, Napa Valley 2009. Followed by Lamb Chops, marinated in balsamic and herb oil served with crispy polenta fries and pistachio mint pesto with housemade F17 sauce and Smoked Duck Crostini with tomato jam layered with thin sliced smoked duck topped with crispy pancetta and bitter greens with a plum honey vinaigrette paired with Stag’s Leap Petite Syrah, Napa Valley 2007.

Followed by Grilled Wild Mushrooms served on crispy polenta topped with a balsamic glaze; Sliced Filet Skewers served over shiitake and parmesan risotto quenelles drizzled with porcini mushrooms sauce and Sriracha chili oil paired with Stags’ Leap Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2007.
